Dr. Magdy Alwany

Dr. Magdy holds a Ph.D. in Marine Science from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, in 2003. He is the General Manager of SENS. Dr. Magdy is a professor of Marine Ecology at the Suez Canal University. He has a long experience of working with national and international organizations, such as UNDP, GEF, UNEP, UNIDO, and EBRD. He has over 30 years of work experience in Marine Biology and Ecology, as well as Coastal Zone Management. Dr. Magdy has over 25 years of experience in Managing and Executing Environmental Projects, Environmental Consultations, and Environmental Impact Assessment Studies Locally and Regionally.

Dr. Deyaa-eddein Abdul-Rahman

Dr. Deyaa holds a Ph.D. in Marine Biology, University of Suez Canal, in 2011. He is a Senior Environmental Consultant at SENS. Dr Deyaa is Lecturer of Marine Biology and Ecology, Department of Marine Science, Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt. He has an experience in Aquatic finfish Farming (Since 1997), Water Quality and productivity, Biostatistics and population dynamics, Environmental Impact Assessment Model (EIA), Invertebrate biology and ecology and Consultants for aquatic farming projects (intensive and re-circulating indoors aquacultures).

Dr. Mahmoud Sami

Dr. Mahmoud Sami is an Assistant Professor of Aquaculture at Suez Canal University, with over 10 years of experience dedicated to advancing sustainable practices in the aquaculture industry. His international work, including internships and projects in countries like China, has given him a valuable global perspective on aquaculture challenges and innovations. Dr. Sami specializes in optimizing aquaculture operations by implementing best management practices that enhance the health and growth of aquatic species while minimizing environmental impacts. He develops biosecurity measures, formulates efficient feeding regimens, and provides insights on fish nutrition to improve growth rates and reduce costs. As a passionate advocate for sustainable aquaculture, Dr. Sami actively engages with stakeholders through training sessions and workshops, ensuring that farm staff and clients are well-versed in modern techniques and regulations. His commitment to driving innovation and productivity in the field makes him a vital resource for the aquaculture community.

Dr. Islam Nagy El-Nekhiely

Dr. Islam holds a Ph.D. in Geosciences focused on the Geothermal Energy Exploration in 2020, University of Suez Canal, Ismailia, Egypt. He is a Senior Environmental Consultant at SENS. He is a Lecturer of Geophysics, Geology Department, Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt. He participated in many international Geosciences projects. He has experience in Appling geological and geophysical tools to tackle different problems. He also has a lot of experience in Field geology, Topographic survey work as well as mapping. He attended some workshops in the field of new and renewable energy at the University of Valladolid in Spain, University of Zagreb in Croatia and in the University of Bologna in Italy.

Mrs. Yasmeen Ismail

Mrs. Yasmeen holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology in aquaculture 2021 from Biotechnology in Aquaculture Department, Fish Farming and Technology Institute, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt. She also got a Diploma in Physiology and Biochemistry 2014. Zoology Department, Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt. She completed a B.Sc. 2013 from Zoology Department, Faculty of Science, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt. She has a good experience in the field of Academic Research specially in Biotechnology and Aquaculture. She worked with the team of (Cobia project 2015) in Fish Farming and Technology Institute.

Ms. Bassma Hassan

Bassma got B.Sc. in Marine Biology from the Faculty of Science, Marine Biology and Biotechnology Department, Suez Canal University in 2018. She got training in National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Science, Fish Farming and Technology Institute, Institute of Biotechnology, Abu Sultan Electric Power Station, and in HEBCA Research Support Center, Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam. She has also participated in the preparation of many Environmental and Social Impact Assessment studies (ESIA) and participated in many workshops and training courses on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of projects.

Mrs. Sarah Gamal

Sarah got a B.Sc. in Marine Science from the Faculty of Science, Marine Biology and Biotechnology Department, Suez Canal University in 2020. She got training in National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Science on spatial data analysis, Fish Farming and Technology Institute, Institute of Biotechnology, HEBCA Research Support Center, Exploited Marine Species, Restoration Program, Port Ghalib, Marsa Alam and National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Suez. She has also participated in the preparation of many Environmental and Social Impact Assessment studies (ESIA) and participated in many workshops and training courses on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of projects.

Ms. Sarah Gad

Sarah got a B.Sc. in Marine Science from the Faculty of Science, Marine Biology and Biotechnology Department, Suez Canal University in 2021. She got training in Fish Farming and Technology Institute, HEPCA Research Support Center, Exploited Marine Species, Restoration Program, Port Ghalib, Marsa Allam, Eco-Pro Training Center and National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Suez.

Eng. Omar Alwany

Omar is a freshly graduated Engineer from a British university in Egypt (BUE), The faculty of Renewable Energy and Environmental Engineering (electrical department) in partnership with London Southbank University (2024). working on the development and implementation of sustainable energy solutions like solar power and wind power while minimizing the negative impacts of human activities on the environment. This field combines principles of engineering, environmental science, and energy management to address critical global challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and pollution.

Ms. Fatma Mohamed

Fatma got B.Sc. in Marine Science from the Faculty of Science, Marine Biology Department, Suez Canal University in 2021. She got training in the Fish Farming and Technology Institute in Ismailia, HEBCA Research Support Center in Marsa Alam, Eco-Pro Training Center and National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Suez. Digital Egypt Pioneers Initiative (DEPI (scholarship in Data Analysis. She has participated in the preparation of many Environmental and Impact Assessment studies (EIA) and ESIA studies.

Ms. Kamilia Mohamed

Kamilia got B.Sc. in Marine Science from the Faculty of Science, Marine Biology Department, Suez Canal University in 2021. She got training in the Fish Farming and Technology Institute in Ismailia, HEBCA Research Support Center in Marsa Alam, Eco-Pro Training Center and National Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Suez. She has participated in the preparation of many Environmental and Impact Assessment studies (EIA) and ESIA studies.

Ms. Nadeen Othman

Nadeen Holds a B.SC of Science,Suez canal university, Chemistry Department, June 2019. She got a field training in the water drinking analysis and treatment waterworks of Suez Canal Authority in Ismailia. She also got a training in a medical analysis lab and got a certification of the best scientific research in the field of basic sciences at the third conference of the student research and development challenges in Suez Canal University may 2019. Nadeen has a research experience in biochemical evaluation of some heterocyclic steroids derivatives as EGFR inhibitors.

Mrs. Luisa Sameh

Luisa got B.Sc. in Marine Science from the Faculty of Science, Marine Biology and Biotechnology Department, Suez Canal University in 2019.
